I had been toying with the idea for some years and realised that to achieve this would require me to step into the unknown and experience my own discomfort. I recognised that this was essential but until I took the first step, had no idea what that really meant. I was naive enough to think I did but as always, life is a great teacher. I learnt that making myself vulnerable, by acknowledging that I did not have all the answers was essential and as I let go of my fear, so the journey began.
So, as I work with my clients I share my journey and in return, get to be involved in theirs. If anything, working with them as they experience vulnerability, develop real trust, explore healthy conflict and surface their real potential as teams has confirmed my decision. I can only do the work I do because my clients are willing to do so themselves.
So to those of you who have been instrumental in this adventure, thank you!
You know who you are.
